Hankerchief Vases

These vases were produced from 1954-5 until about 1990, so they do include those made by Fiesta Glass Ltd. The original ones were circular blanks either blue or ruby-flashed or clear glass printed with the Swirl pattern. In 1956, the Milk vase range printed onto square blanks were started. Following this, the patterned vases appeared as 7-in and 8-in tall models and, finally, the 4-in tall 'Posy Bowls' appeared in 1969. A short run of 5-in models derive from the late-1970s.

Posy Bowl, floral pattern
A few experimental vases appeared in the late-1970s that were never released commercially. This bronze-sprayed one has a green floral design over-printed.

Cordon opal-flashed handkerchief
Handkerchief vases that are printed onto opal-flashed glass are quite rare. This one is in the Cordon pattern.

Reversed Polka-Dot posy bowl
A rare 'reversed' Polka-Dot posy bowl, 4-in high. Often seen as a red background with white dots, this version is much scarcer.
